Make-up times—We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you are not able to attend a session, we will make every effort to accommodate you. However, please know that it's not always possible due to our full schedule.
Tardiness—We understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to tardiness. If you anticipate being late, please let us know immediately. The end time of the appointment will remain the same even if the start time is delayed.
No Call / No Show - You may risk losing your spot if you miss two or more sessions without prior notice. While we understand that life can be unpredictable, it's important to remember that the session still needs to be paid for. Your payment secures your spot. This is just like daycare or other activities. Vacations - Please let us know about any vacations you have planned. Our policy at The Tree of Knowledge is to provide a flexible vacation period of one week off (2 or 3 days, depending on your contract) at no charge. Any additional vacation time will require payment. Payment ensures that you keep your reserved time for intervention. I do offer Zoom sessions if you would like to have intervention services while you are away.
Drop-off and pick-up policy—
Please be as prompt as possible.
Clothing—There is no official/ enforced dress code for students, but please bring your child reasonably clothed for their appointment. If your child needs a change of clothes in case of an accident, please place them in a clearly labeled, sealed bag. You and I will try to remember to change them out seasonally.
Meetings and Advocacy—When possible, they should be scheduled during the client's allotted time. If this doesn’t work, we must plan well in advance. Please understand that other clients have pre-scheduled times as well. There will be a charge of $75 per hour for consultation and advocacy.
Payment methods- CASH is always appreciated; check, Venmo, and Zelle are welcome! Each session is 50 minutes to an hour long and costs $65 for 1 session a week, $120 for 2 sessions a week (mandatory for the first 6 months), and $175 for 3 sessions a week. What I charge is non-negotiable. You can pre-payyour balance weekly or monthly. Other agreed-upon arrangements can be made with clear communication and guidelines.
Clients must attend at least twice a week for the first 6 months of intervention. Three times a week during the summer is strongly advised unless you are in a maintenance program. If you/ your child attends two times a week, you must pay for eight sessions monthly. If you/ your child attends three times a week, you must pay for 12 lessons a month. Any extra lessons due to additional days, ½ weeks in the month, are free. These are the same policies as daycares and all extracurricular activities.
** Prices are subject to change
** Current clients will not see an increase in rates
** I reserve the right to place clients in small groups with similar age and ability students.
